ACL’s Midas is a true offline mobile encryption and management tool for
Tablet PC's. This is not dependant on GPRS, 3G or wireless connection
and is totally reliable in any environment. Midas provides a local
login and password to activate the system, data is recorded onto a form,
signatures are captured, a copy of the signed form can be printed out on
our mobile A4 printer, The forms are then saved and encrypted incase of
theft. Back at base Midas manages the upload to a central area
accompanied with an XML file for further processing into a back office
system or importing into a document management system for viewing.
Pilots are being carried out with Housing Benefit form and Environmental
Health food inspection forms.
