On
Wednesday mornings there is Holy Eucharist at 9.30 which is always
followed by a cup of coffee, and there are services on the major Saints'
days and Holy Days, usually at 9.30, but occasionally in the evening
(usually then at 19.30).
Ministry to Children
Our Sunday School for children of Primary School Age meets each Sunday
at 9.45 (during term time) in the Church Hall, opposite St David's. An
interesting and recent development is the admission of children to Holy
Communion before confirmation, following the guidelines set out by the
Welsh Bench of Bishops. This parish has been participating in a pilot
project of admitting to Holy Communion children who have been baptised
and who are over the age of 7 years, and who have been regular in their
attendance at Sunday School and church services. The first of these
children received their Holy Communion for the first time on Easter Day,
and it is anticipated that this practice will continue for the
foreseeable future.
